Frequently asked questions

Pixels cost 5 cents each. You buy them a hundred at a time, as a square of 10 by 10 pixels, so €5 per square. You pay once; there are no monthly or yearly fees. VAT is included in the price and is itemised on your invoice.

As many as you like, as long as they are still free. Pixels you buy next to each other form a single area, so you can cover them with one image instead of filling in each part separately.

Checkout runs through payment provider Mollie. Which payment methods you are offered depends on your country; you will see them at checkout. Your payment details never reach us and are not stored by us.

Yes. We create an invoice right after your payment, and you can download it as a PDF in My Pixels. Want the invoice in your company's name? Enter your company name and VAT number at checkout.

Contact us and we will look at what is possible. If something went wrong with your payment, or you bought the wrong pixels by accident, let us know as soon as you can. See also the terms.

With the email address you used to order. There is no password: enter your email address in My Pixels and you will receive an email with a login link and a login code. Both are valid for 15 minutes. If nothing arrives, please check your spam folder.

Your certificate is digitally signed, but our signing certificate is not part of Adobe's default list of trusted publishers. Your PDF reader therefore cannot place the signature automatically and reports it as "not verified". That says nothing about its validity: scan the QR code on the document to check the certificate with us. What that check shows is what counts.

We only keep what we need to process your order and give you access to your pixels. You can read more about that on the privacy page.

There is no end date. We keep the canvas online for at least ten years, and for as long as Pixanvas exists your spot stays yours. There is nothing to renew.

As often as you like. The drawing, the image, the title, the text and the link can all be changed at any time. Every change is kept as a version, so you can always go back to how it was.

Almost anything, as long as it does not break the law or other people's rights. Not allowed are, among other things, hateful, discriminatory or threatening material, pornography, deception and phishing, and images you do not hold the rights to. Content that crosses those lines is removed. Not sure? Just ask us.

There is no button for that yet. If you want your pixels put in someone else's name, get in touch and we will arrange it by hand.

Yes. You move around the canvas with drag and pinch gestures, and you can set up your pixels on a phone as well. Drawing individual pixels is simply more comfortable on a bigger screen.
